The power to change the world lies in whether you choose to take action here and now. There are many ways to get involved. Please take one step, no matter how small, and help us make history.

Get informed about the new Jubilee ACT to be re- introduced in early 2009.  After passing the House of Representatives and the Senate Foreign Relations committee in August, 2008, it was stopped by only one U.S. Senator from passage.  The ACT will expand debt cancellation to 25 more countries and call for the GAO to conduct a debt audit of our lending to developing nations.

Advocacy and Action: Meeting with our U.S. Representatives and Senators to support debt cancellation legislation. Jubilee Act. Haiti Resolution. Liberia. Endorse related initiatives. General membership: Meet monthly to discuss work of committees, provide support, network with area groups such as Bread for the World, Portland Area Global AIDS Coalition and others. All are welcome!
